Most intruder-related products can be integrated to incorporate a mix of CCTV, access
control and perimeter protection with connection to mobile phones or a monitoring

In providing 24 hour monitoring and response for intruder alarms and CCTV systems,
Index also operates a 24/7 keyholder response with mobile patrol service via its
sister company Premier Services. In this respect, Index is one of the few, independent
UK companies to offer an allied guarding service.

Applications
SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
An Index service contract does not incur an annual fee. For all customers, charges
apply only to site visits made by our engineers and in this respect Index is unique.
Annual fees apply only to monitoring contracts. A contract remains live until a
householder or business moves or the contract is cancelled.
The introduction of remote diagnostics and servicing will enable the
identification
and interrogation of faults and bring further cost benefits, representing, as it
does, an effective resolution at a fraction of the cost of an engineer call-out.
Police monitored systems still require a twice yearly service call; most other systems
require just one engineer service visit with payment by invoice charged after the
inspection.
HOUSE BUILDERS AND DEVELOPERS
Homes under construction and building sites generally house high-value materials
that are vulnerable to theft or valdalism. Intruder systems at an early build stage
can be installed with initial pre-cabling, wireless or a fully functional monitored
system, including BT Redcare monitoring.
HOME OWNERS
Installed systems should be serviced at least once a year and older systems can
be replaced with minimum disruption at a surprisingly low cost. The attention Index
gives to each residential system reinforces the difference of our approach and high
level of customer service.
